Participants agree to the T and C's stated herein at the time of booking.

Booking process:

• The minimum age is 13 years of age. Under 18's should be accompanied by either a paying adult involved in the experience or they can be accompanied by an observer free of charge.

• Participants are requested to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time of the event and should ensure they are dressed appropriately for the outside elements of the lessons.

• Participants will be required to complete the CAA FLYER ID test which is a compulsory requirement to operate any drone >250g in the UK. It comprises of 40 multiple choice questions. The test can be taken as many times as you wish, free of charge and completed via the CAA website taking about 10 mins to complete. Vortex Drone Training will assist participants to complete this if required. However, participants are encouraged to complete this at home which will mean more time is available to fly the drones! Participants that fail to complete the test will not be allowed to fly our drones.

• We reserve the right to modify the content of the courses to suit the requirements of participants than that advertised. We also reserve the right to vary the DJI or Parrot equipment used.

• The booking fee applied through booking hound is non-refundable.

Weather, Postponement and Cancellation.

• We are unable to operate our drones in very strong winds, rain or poor weather such as fog. We will always monitor the weather conditions 5 days prior to the event. Should we deem the weather unsuitable, we will make this decision no later than 24 hours before the event. We will engage with participants throughout the process. We will then re-schedule the event at mutually agreed date.

• A refund will be issued by us if the course can't be scheduled.

• The participant may re-schedule their booking up to 14 days prior to the event or can request a full refund. Between 14 days and 72 hours the participant may only re-schedule. Less than 72 hours the participant will not receive a refund.

• No Show – Should you not attend a session; no refund will be available. At the discretion of Vortex Drone Training you may be re-booked onto another course but an admin fee maybe payable.

Insurance.

• Participants will have temporary insurance for the day as part of their booking covering 3rd party insurance and damage to our equipment.

• Participants who bring their own drones should ensure they have appropriate insurance and an operator ID.

Dangerous flying.

•  Vortex Drone Company Ltd will not tolerate dangerous flying or misuse of our equipment. Should participants not listen to instructors’ reasonable requests. The participant will be requested to leave and will not receive a refund.



• Anyone under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs will not be allowed to participate.
