What is the Mavic 2 Zoom?

The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom is the drone of choice for our sister company Vortex Drone Company Ltd for use on many of our inspection commercial jobs. It has an impressive 12MP camera and can shoot in 4K. The camera can also be used to zoom up to 4x. As well as the excellent camera, it has impressive obstacle avoidance and can be easily transported.

The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom is one of the family of Mavic series drones available from DJI and sits at the top end - a size above the Mavic Air 2S. The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom was launched in 2018 alongside the Pro variant. The game changing foldable design made it more portable than the previous Phantom series drones.

Features include obstacle avoidance, Intelligent flight modes and a variety of photography settings with a fully manual camera unlike the Mavic Air 2S.
